There are a variety of camping options available ( in alphabetical order):

Bear Lake Campground –  This campground was my base camp for a week back in late September 2012 as I explored the Nicolet National Forest, and the idea for the Bear 100 first took shape.

Laona Baseball Diamond – The town of Laona has agreed to let us use the baseball diamond directly across the trail from T-Bobs Bar and Grill for tent camping. There are no electrical hook-ups. There is one porta-potty, and water is available at T-Bobs. No driving on the baseball diamond and no fires allowed.

Nicolet National Forest dispersed camping – One of the great features of our National Forests is the opportunity for dispersed camping.

Trailside Hideaway – Located approximately one mile south of Laona, and right along the ATV trail, this new campground features 34 sites, showers and laundry facilities. Wake up and ride to the starting line.
